WE'RE DEDICATED TO FIGHTING FOR MENSTRUAL EQUITY AND THE RIGHTS OF ALL PEOPLE WHO BLEED.

Are a necessity and not luxury , everyone deserves Menstrual protection.

It’s hard to believe that we still have a lot of people experiencing period poverty who resort to using toilet paper, old scraps of fabric, and socks.

MyMenses was started by Sike Adeshokan and her team, who decided something needed to be done to create a sustainable flow (pun intended) of menstrual products for those who can’t afford to buy them. What started as a whip-round on Facebook is now a growing charity, with a vision to achieve menstrual equity — where the simple fact of bleeding doesn’t stop anyone from participating fully in society, or life.

Erm, QQ: What is menstrual equity?

Affordability, accessibility and safety of menstrual products. Menstrual equity is not just about products. It is also about education and reproductive care.

Q2 what is Period Poverty- Period poverty is a global issue affecting women, girls and people who menstruate all over the world. It is the lack of access to menstrual products due to financial constraints.

Q3. Sustainable Periods – Use of reusable cloth pads, Period Pants, Menstrual cup and Organic Menstrual Pads which are good for the environment.
